What's your favorite line from a song, and why?
Okay, I guess I didn't really read the question. I saw the word "favorite" and the word "song" and just answered. My favorite LINE from a SONG is:

"I took off my pity party dress and I don't dance no more"

I love Antigone Rising.

Right now my favorite song is "Rolling in the Deep" by Adele. Love that song! All time favorite though is "Gypsy" by Fleetwood Mac.

I forgot I had a livejournal account until someone commented on one of my posts. I should get back into writing. What else am I gonna do? I just have to find my muse. It ran away. If anyone sees it, let me know. It's in the form of a six-foot tall woman with amazing legs and a dirty laugh. :)

Well, Happy 2010! My Internet has finally decided to start working, so hopefully I'll be able to post here more often.

I bought a car about a month ago. It's a really cheap car, but it works. Well, now it works. I haven't even been able to drive it yet. We just got it back from the garage the day before yesterday. The guy had to replace a...well, I dunno, something in the engine. It wasn't what we thought he'd have to replace, but it was actually cheaper. Tomorrow I'm getting plates and insurance, and then I'm finally going to be able to drive! I get to leave when I want to...that will be amazing.

I've been in a Wendy Crewson type mood lately, lol. I have these... I dunno, facinations I guess you would call them. Obsessions, really. I fixate on one person or thing and then I learn all I can about him/her/it and then I move on. In the past, I've been obsessed with Star Wars, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Cher, drag queens (long story), the Rocky Horror Picture Show, One Life to Live, The West Wing... ask me anything about those topics, and I'll know it, lol. So now it's Wendy Crewson because, well, I happen to think she's hot. She meets all the criteria for my dream woman: She's taller than me, she's a lot older than me (that's an important thing- at least 20 years older is a must), she's not a blonde...yup, she's my perfect woman. Too bad she's happily married to an actor I've never heard of. I looked him up- I've seen a bunch of the movies he's been in, and I cannot picture his face at all.

I need to get out more.

I'm getting really to head back to school. I can't decide what I want to study, though, but I've got to do something when I'm not at work.

So... I only have a second, but I wanted to put this out into the Universe. Rock on, Meredith Baxter! It wasn't news to me, so I got to tell a few people 'I told ya so,'but still, good for you!! It's a great feeling when you get everything out in the open and don't have to worry about the wrong person finding out your secret before you're ready. I wish you all the best.

Not that I think Meredith Baxter is out trolling the Internet for words of support, but just in case. XOXO-Natasha

Hmm... haven't been on here in a while so I thought I'd just share some random thoughts that are going through my head, lol.

My ankle hurts. I twisted it when I fell on my face at work a week ago. It was classic Natasha- it's not the first time I've fallen on my face and it won't be the last.

I miss Sophie. She was my aunt's dog and I had to take her to get put to sleep last week. She was 18.

I can't wait until tomorrow. I'm spending the day with mom in Fort Wayne. Haven't seen her in forever.

Mostly the thoughts in my head are about taking a nap. It's four o'clock. Weird time for a nap? Who cares. Tomorrow's pay day. Yay!

Ugh... I hate Indiana in the fall. The weather cannot make up its mind, and we all end up sick. I got sent home from work yesterday 'cause I'm sick, and my aunt is all worried about germs in the house. It's a sinus infection, I get them all the time. My little brother got diagnosed with H1N1 yesterday. Poor guy always draws the short straw. So, he's housebound for a while, and I know it's gonna drive him bonkers. Guess he'll have to wait until next year to trick-or-treat as Michael Jackson. He had his costume all planned out from things he has in his closet-so smart and thrifty.

I had today off work, so I relaxed until dinner time. I cook a mean fried chicken, if I do say so myself.

I finished reading Twilight Eyes by Dean Koontz at, like, one thirty this morning. Good book. I was hoping that it would kick me out of the writing block I've been experiencing the last little while and I'd be able to finish my CJ/Abbey fic, but no such luck. It has made me want to start in on my original story, though. It's been playing around in my head for years but I've never put it on paper. Guess I'll start doing that soon. A former friend of mine had her book published, why can't I? But, I'm still gonna try and finish my fic.

Watching Halloween right now- the original with Jamie Lee Curtis. She got hotter as she got older...she's not that hot in this flick. Oh well, he voice is the same. So, I'm gonna go finish this and eat a brownie that just came out of the oven, and settle down for my regular Tuesday televison line up: NCIS, then I wait an hour pretending to watch NCIS Los Angeles but not really, and then we switch over to FX for Sons Of Anarchy. I DVR The Good Wife and I'll most likely watch that tomorrow after work. It's a good show, but Sons of Anarchy is a must see. Yay for not having to work on Tuesday night! XOXO-Natasha

I am so bad at updating this thing. I have been super busy lately. Work, then painting Anisa's house yesterday. I am exhausted. I'm gonna try and get online more often, to try and keep the few friends I still have, lol. But, dinner's ready and I'm hungry.....

Yup, that's me. I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off. I've been called into work early, have been working crazy hours, and I'm exhausted. I suppose it's a good thing that the managers know I can be called in, 'cause that means I'm a good worker or whatever, but seriously, enough. I should be glad that I have a job, because three weeks ago I didn't. Monday is pay day, so yay. I don't have a day off until Thursday, and I haven't had a minute to myself to think of how I'm going to end my CJ/Abbey fic. I usually figure it out before I fall asleep, but here lately I'm zonked before my head hits the pillow.

I have all these plans for the money I'm getting on Monday, but first thing's first. Chinese food. I crave it all day long, almost every day. General Tso's Chicken, white rice, and crab ragoons. Yummy. So, yeah, Monday after work I have a date with The Great Wall in the plaza. Then, I think I'm gonna go see a movie. The Stepfather? Sela Ward's hot- why not? Ahh, to have a job, even if it sucks. Oh well. It supports my Mountain Dew habit, and my smoking habit which, yes, I've started again. Grrr. XOXO-Natasha

I've been super busy the last week or so, which is a huge change considering I'm usually bored outta my mind. I started work this week, and I'm already over it. What else is new? Their policies are getting on my nerves- so different from my last job, but whatever.

My older sister, Anisa, is buying her first house. It's a fixer upper, and that's exactly what she's been doing. I went over Thursday and Friday to help paint- and I AM EXHAUSTED! We painted 12 hours Thursday and 12 hours Friday 'cause she wanted to get it finished before the carpet got layed Saturday. It looks really good. My nieces room is Peptol Bismal pink- it was really starting to give me a headache.

Last night was my cousin Matt's welcome home/21st birthday party. He's on a 10 day leave from the Marines before he goes back to finish his training. Poor guy has to wear government issued glasses- the big plastic ones. He looks so weird! Uncle Chris said he looked like Waldo (y'know, Where's Waldo?) But the party was fun. I don't have to work again until Tuesday, so I'm planning on catching up on my sleep and trying to let my muscles rest. Even my toes hurt!!

Writing is getting pushed to the back burner for a while, but I promise I will finish my WIPs soon. It's just a little crazy right now.
